Tokyo will be our 9th Olympic Games.
Expectations are set high for the return to the Games to the Japanese capital, first hosted in 1964.
Two are the main operational areas within the city of Tokyo for these Games: the Heritage Zone with few of the iconic venues used for the 1964 Games and the Tokyo Bay Zone, a urban modern and innovative development.
The Athletes’ Village lays exactly on the intersection of the two areas, almost as a bridge between the past and the future.
